Trish says: I discovered belly dancing with Eren Sinclair about 8 years ago, and now dance regularly with the Belly Babes from Lincoln, my own students, the Aradia Dancers, and Sadaaqah. This is an open level class, all ages welcome but under 18s must have parental consent form and under 14s must be with a responsible adult.
This class is a Lincolnshire Dance Dance4Life branded class and, as such, is suitable for mature participants. Sheherazade (aka Connie) is a Lincolnshire Dance trained and approved instructor so you can be confident that the teaching will be safe and professional.
Sheherazade is insured, has a PPL (music) license, an enhanced CRB certificate and has the JWAAD "Safe Delivery of Belly Dance Classes" certificate and the NOCN accredited "Freedom in Dance" training as well as being a qualified teacher. Sheherazade regularly performs as a soloist in Egyptian style and also with the Oh May Ga Tribal Fusion troupe, and with the ShimmyChics (fusion) at local dance parties and charity events. She also performs at weddings, parties and ladies social groups.
Sheherazade also specialises in teaching dance to over 50s and the elderly. She has a few daytime slots available if you wish to discuss forming a class for your community group or retirement home.

Bio: I have been dancing for nearly 7 years and am a performer and teacher of Egyptian and Middle Eastern dance. An early childhood in the Middle East formed my love of the music from that era and region, and that influence has formed the way that I dance today.
I regularly attend specialist workshops and courses with national and international belly dance teachers and performers to improve my skills and knowledge, as you never stop learning. I am predominantly an Egyptian style belly dancer and love baladi, oriental, saiidi and shaabi but also enjoy dance in other styles such as Lebanese, Gulf, Iraqi, Tunisian and some Turkish. I perform professionally as a solo belly dancer for parties, restaurants and events both locally, and other parts of the country through the national Book a Belly agency. I am founder and member of Sadaaqah, a group of teachers and performers in this area who meet regularly to skills share and who are passionate about promoting middle eastern dance and live music in South Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire. I am also a member of NADA - the Northern Arabic Dance Association, and am fully insured to perform and teach.
My main intention through teaching is to make you feel great about yourself, for you to have fun and to guide you through the journey of belly dance - the origins, and different styles of the dance, in addition to technique and musicality. I currently teach in Doncaster on Thursday mornings and do one-to-one and small group tuition on request.

Jacky has been performing belly dance for 10 years and teaching since 2005 she performs regularly around the region. She has studied with over 26 nationally and internationally respected belly dance teachers.
She recently spent time in Cairo studying with Sara Farouk Ahmeh and Egyptian Rhythms with the fabulous Emad El Rasheedy. Highlights of her career so far include dancing with 'Lucy' in Cairo. Winning a bellydance competition in Istanbul and performing for 600 Turkish people at an engagement party. She is fully insured . Jacky teaches Egyptian and Turkish styles of belly dance Jacky likes to be very hands on in class with lots of individual attention given to students. The class are taught performance skills from the very first class. Every three months students are invited to take part in choreographies at her haflas which gives a real focus learning the dance.
