Dans Satam Midsummer Hafla

Doing a review on our own hafla - why not!
Dans Satam only present one hafla a year, but by gum,it's a good 'un! We usually combine our hafla as a fundraiser for a charity, this year being "Help for Heroes".
The venue is ideal, having lots of room for changing, souks and of course our lovely audience! A lot of organisation went into the night to present a really varied programme and feedback told us this was the best ever hafla for the diversity of performance styles. I am not going to single out any particular performance - THEY WERE ALL BRILLIANT. A big Thank You to all our artistes for attending - without you we wouldn't have a hafla!
The buffet was superb, and plenty of it (some greedy piglet had 3 desserts -well, there was loads left, and it was a shame to leave it.....)
I would like to thank all who helped myself and Janet to make it a success, raising the magnificent amount of £520 for Help for Heroes (God Bless them all).
See you next year, same place, June 18th 2011. Thanks for coming!
