SCAM WARNING REAPEATED AGAIN!!!
I received another scam email forwarded from Jenny, These seem to follow a pattern in that they are sent to dance teachers and claim that a group of tourists/students want daily lessons from you for a week or more with the suggestion that you will be able to earn a substantial sum teaching foreign tourists. These emails have all the hallmarks of phishing. You are tempted with a carrot and will probably be asked to give personal details or pay a deposit or some such in order to facilitate the deal. Of course, no dance students will ever materialise and if you paid a deposit it's history. If you gave your personal details you'd better kiss your identity, bank account and credit cards goodbye.
See our previous scam warning > Be aware that these emails vary but the gist is the same.
6th November While browsing on Snopes.com this morning after getting a forwarded hoax message I found the following link of a bride in a "revealing" beaded wedding dress titled "Dressed to Thrill".
Apparently this photo had been circulating on the internet and someone asked Snopes.com to find out the story ... LOL! Take a look, I'll bet any one reading this website could guess the correct answer within 2 seconds of seeing the photo.
SCAM WARNING REAPEATED!!
ALSO This seems to be a hoax day, in the same batch of emails I received a dance teaching request that was almost identical (but not as credible) to the one Zikaya received back in August. See the original warning I gave then here. If you get anything remotely like this in your email in box transfer it straight into junk.
Check out possible hoax emails on www.hoax-slayer.com. Browsing around their archives is a great way to educate yourself and some are really funny.
Please note that our web counter is set up to record unique visits, NOT page hits.
We aim to provide as much information about this subject as we can put together and to link to other websites where more information is available.
Belly dance teachers and groups can list their classes, haflas and workshops here for free. We also give basic listings of shows, events, shops and online shops for free although more prominent paid advertising slots are available if you want to support this website.
This website is currently a work in progress, it's already at more than 100 pages and more information will be published as we find the time to write it or search it out and link to it.
.................Meanwhile, happy browsing!
