Shimmychicks' 10th Annual Hafla!

Wills and Kate tie the knot; Zara and Mike do the same; Posh and Becks have another littl’un and Voldemort gets what he deserves - at last!

But all these events pale into insignificance compared to the momentous event which will be celebrated on the 8th of October, and you don’t need to go to London or Hogwarts to see history in the making.

Ten years ago, the Shimmychicks first met and we intend to party!
Come to Sudbrooke Village Hall and help us celebrate A Decade of Dance.

This is a unique show by the Tarab Dance Company that delves into what "Belly Dance" really means today and takes the audience on a journey to look at perceptions of Belly Dance. It looks at both Middle Eastern and Western culture and how the interplay between these cultures has developed the dance to its current status. Performances include Folk, Oriental, American Cabaret, Pop and Tribal Fusion styles of Belly Dance.

Workshops with Ozgen with Hafla to follow at Wombourne Comunity Centre Tickets £15 each (or 2 for £25) he will be teaching a fun caberet style and also a Romany Gypsy style workshop. I also also holding a hafla on the same night at the same venue. Tickets are £10 each £7 for performers and Ozgen will be performing there.
