Anne teaches and performs Middle Eastern dance throughout the UK.  A qualified JWAAD (Josephine Wise Academy of Arabic Dance) Diploma Teacher, her style is relaxed and fun.  She prefers modern Egyptian style and travels to Egypt regularly to study the latest techniques and research various aspects of the dance.

Previously trained in tap and jazz dance and with an interest in many other dance forms Anne also likes to explore fusions with other dance styles and is well known for her fun fusion dance choreographies.  Anne has studied Middle Eastern dance over 13 years with many international dance teachers

Ozgen has performed, taught, choreographed & directed for the last 15 years. His reputation as a male belly dancer & teacher has taken him across the World. In Istanbul, he joined the cast of Night of the Sultans combining contemporary dance, ballet & oriental dance.

Fereshteh Hosseini is of Persian descent, and discovered bellydance 9 years ago in her hometown of Edinburgh, Scotland. Performing Modern Egyptian and Modern Saidi Belly Dance. Raqia Hassan, Dandash and Khaled Mahmoud. Randa Kamel, and Dina are her main influences.

Bio: Hilary Thacker is a professional Egyptian style dancer. She performs and teaches throughout Britain as well as in the Middle East, dancing at weddings, balls, cabarets, corporate events and hotels, often with Arabic musicians. She also plays and teaches ME percussion both in the UK and on desert trips.

She is also a teacher of the Alexander Technique and is interested in the therapeutic side of this dance. Based in Edinburgh where she runs the Middle Eastern dance and music shop - "Hilary's Bazaar."

Bio: Heike (professional name Akasha) qualified as a JWAAD teacher in 2004. She first starting learning Arabic dance in 1989 and instantly fell in love with the dance. She originally turned to the dance because of her love of all things Egyptian and also because it had nothing to do with Aerobics and the attached body fascism.
Heike studied with a number of well renowned UK and International teachers. These include, amongst others, the JWAAD teachers, Liza Wedgewood and Anne Ashcroft of the Suraya Hilal School of Raks Sharqi, Princess Farhana, the Bellydance Superstars and many Egyptian instructors.
In 2000, Heike was ‘bitten’ by the Tribal bug. Ever since then, she has taken every Tribal workshop possible with Carolena Nericcio, director of FatChanceBellyDance and Kajira Djoumahna of BlackSheepBellyDance.
She has also travelled to and participated in the prestigious ‘Tribal Fest’ in California, organised by her Tribal mentor Kajira Djoumahna. This year, she taught at Tribal Fest for the first time.
She is a regular at the Fantasia festival and teaches workshops all over the UK and internationally.
In 2004, Heike formed her own tribe ‘Medusa’ who have had many successful gigs and include ATS as well as experimental pieces.
